Experience Website Developer and Graphics Designer
I’m Cyryl Bitangcol. I live in Philippines and I love being a freelance web developer. My life is better because of working at home with my family and 2 kids.
I had a normal “job” for about a year after college and my biggest goal at that time was to be able to learn everything in short span of time and build a business. I managed to quit back in 2011 and worked from home for myself ever since then.
When I first apply for a job I really don’t know what to do or what to say as what I have is a plain resume filled with my personal information, educational background, skills, and full confidence with myself to talk with the business owners.
I remember March 2011 when Unisson Company based on France hired me and believe on my skills to do and work for their e-commerce website using PrestaShop and some clients website to be built using WordPress, as I don’t have any idea on what to do and that’s the start I self-study about Content Management System (CMS), and this is the start of my journey.
Yes, because of being a Freelance Web Developer and Designer I get to play a lot, spend a lot of time with my wife and kids, and get out with my friends. I work for about less than I work on a regular job and earn more.
